Do you ever get the feeling that you are meant to be doing something else right now?
Like most of the things in your life don't mean as much as you make them out to be or want them to be?

We all have our hopes and dreams but how often does one do everything they want too? We have too many responsibilities, too many bills to pay and too many places to be.

With having two jobs and being a full time student at two institutions along with trying to become a more successful photographer I often find myself simply overwhelmed and time constrained. I remember my friend Rod, waking across the entirety of Canada, and my friend Josh, a complete free spirited vagabond and wonder what the hell I am doing here when there is so much I have yet to explore in this world. I dream of leaving this place, just for a while, to embark on an epic adventure, a European backpacking trip, a great hike or journey that will test my strengths and weaknesses and teach me something real. A photographic journey that will lead me to take amazing photographs of what is left of the great wilderness in this world, and the species that are left. I feel like I need to document this time and the places I could go. To try and see things in a new light, to re-inspire myself to do something more. To experience the beauty of nature and preserve and conserve, to try and inspire others to sustainable ways of living through art of some kind.

But alas...I am involved in to much too leave it all behind. A fantastic boyfriend, room mates I barely get to see even now, school, two jobs I want to maintain, the beginnings of whatever photography roads I travel down...I don't read as much as I wish I still did.

But then I am still lucky that I am where I am in life. That I have these things that keep me here. That I can have two jobs while many have none. That I can experience love that others don't get too. That I at least have something I can aspire to, rather than accepting life as it is now..tiresome and stressful.

This is just me ranting about where I am in life haha. It's just crunch time in good old university and I have just about had it haha.
